I just attended my best friend's wedding in Chicago this past weekend. Her reception featured the Steve Edwards Orchestra....three words:
They. Were. Awesome.
If you're on the fence, just pull the trigger and book them. They were incredible and kept the dance floor packed the entire evening. The musical talent of this group is insane!
A+++++....easily one of the best weddings I've ever attended and this band was a huge part of that!

We had a pretty big party Saturday night at London House Chicago. This band "1976" killed it. Our guests pretty much flipped out. The music choice was beyond stellar. Steve Edwards Orchestra is the BEST wedding band in the Chicago area. Steve came highly recommended by a family friend who had Steve perform at her daughters wedding. When we heard the CD we were very impressed, but I still wasn't sure about having a band. I spoke with Steve and he convinced me they would have the dance floor packed all night.
A few weeks before the wedding I sent Steve a list of songs we wanted them to play that were not on their song list. Steve called a week later and said they had learned several of the songs and were excited to add them to their repertoire. We didnt have many slow songs n the song list (I think only 4), so we had our fingers crossed the band would be fun for all ages.
We were blown away by how amazing the 12 piece band was. They were so energetic and charismatic I found myself watching them and feeling so happy they were part of our special day. The dance floor was insane all night. As the bride I wanted to be able to quickly survey the room and be able to tell that people were having fun and whenever I looked at the dance floor I couldnt help but smile. Everyone was out there getting crazy. At one point I saw my father-in-law and the priest on the dance floor kicking their legs in the air. The musicians and the singers were amazing and they made our night. Anyone looking to have live music at ay event should use Steve Edwards because they will not be disappointed.

Having been to many weddings, we can truly say that the Steve Edwards Orchestra is the best we have heard in the last 10 years. Think of the sound of a 13 piece orchestra and a rock band rolled into one. Steve and his orchestra recently played at our daughter's wedding and had everyone dancing from the first song thru the last, 41/2 hours later. Simply put, they rocked! All generations were on the dance floor and all the feed back after the wedding was that everyone, no matter what their age, had a fabulous time dancing the night away.

We hired SEO in part because they played at my sister's wedding 15 years ago and people still talk about how good they were. The band did not disappoint on the night of the wedding! Everyone was talking about how great they were all night and beyond! They had the dance floor packed until the end. They also provided our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner music. Every part of the evening was great! The one thing to be aware of is that their website could use some updating and their set list is not up to date with everything they play. Overall, we would highly recommend the band! 

The best band EVER!!! I wanted a very specific song for my ceremony song (no joke it’s from the Lizzie McGuire Movie). There is no sheet music out there for it, so every other band I talked to said they would play a CD of it. Steve on the other hand has perfect pitch, so as soon as he heard it he just started playing it aloud for me. It was amazing! He wrote out sheet music for it and him and a violinist played it for my ceremony. After that, they ROCKED the house for dancing!!! They even nailed the hora! Can not recommend enough, and Steve was a total joy to work with through the whole process!

Steve Edwards was the PERFECT choice for our wedding day. After hearing them at a wedding last year, my groom and I knew we HAD to have them at ours. All of our guests were on their feet dancing the night away!

Steve is great to work with and his band is phenomenal! We had a jazz trio set the mood during cocktail hour and light dinner music, then the full band played all night. A lot of the younger people (some of our friends, cousins and bridal party) were skeptical about a live band because they're used to DJs but we got sooo many compliments from them and the rest of the guests about how awesome the live band was.

Steve Edwards was amazing! They provided our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, as well as dinner & dancing music! They were the talk of our wedding and all of our guests raved at how amazing they were! The price is definitely up there but they are totally worth it!

They had people on the dance floor the entire evening without us giving a play list and they learned our wedding song.
